| Put a martini glass in the freezer. Fill a shaker with ice, preferablly crushed. Add the bourbon (use the good stuff), the vermouth and a dash of bitters. Shake it up for a good 10 seconds. You can let it stand for a few minutes at room temp if you want it to be a little more mellow. But, always give it a good shake before you strain it into that frozen martini glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry. |
