Buffalo Chicken Wings
We made and taste tested just about every chicken wing recipe out there. We came up with this one and feel it is the best match for traditional buffalo style wings. The wings are lightly floured and dried before frying which gives the outside just enough substance to hang on to the hot sauce without feeling like they were dipped in a heavy batter. These are friggin' awesome!!

Oysters on the half shell
If you have never done oysters on the half shell yourself, don’t be intimidated. You will need a few essentials. One being an oyster knife, or shucker. You may think that you can use a knife, but you will end up in the emergency room with a nice hand laceration. You’ll also need a heavy dishtowel. If you have never shucked an oyster, click here for a quick 101 . Buy your oysters from a reputable fish market. Only eat them in the month's that contain the letter "r". Ask your fishmonger what they recommend. Some tasty and popular varieties to offer are Stellar Bay, Dabob, Kumamoto and Quilcene. Stuffed Roasted Jalapenos
One Christmas, we went skiing in Vail, Colorado. For lunch we ate at a Mexican Restaurant that was at the bottom of the mountain. We ordered the jalapeno poppers and were a bit surprised that they showed up roasted and not fried with a bready coating. They were awesome. Later that year, we went with a big group to do some skiing and film watching in Park City, Utah during Sundance. We were at the grocery store shopping for dinner goods and were craving those jalapenos that we had in Vail. So, we said “what the hell” and made up a recipe. They were a hit! I really wanted a jalapeno jelly for dipping and all we could find was ham glaze. Yes, ham glaze. Surprisingly enough, it was really tasty with the peppers.

Thai Chicken or Beef Saté with Peanut Sauce
Classic and yummy Thai saté. Don’t be intimidated by this. It calls for a couple of ingredients that are somewhat uncommon (fish sauce and red curry paste). However, they are common enough that a grocery store with a decent Asian section will have them.
Recipe is enough for 1 lb. of meat, we recommend a double or triple batch as these WILL get devoured!!
